Activated charcoal is a powerful detoxifier, so I recommend taking it first thing in the morning, before other foods have been consumed.

If you don't want a chunky green smoothie (which I assume no one does) blend the greens first, separately from all the fruit ingredients. Then add the fruit once the greens have been thoroughly broken down. FYI my life changed when I learned this tip!
