People often chop the greens off of beets and only eat the roots, but the greens are actually the most nutrient rich part! I like to swap kale for beet greens in my green smoothies whenever we have beets in the house.

So Trader Joes started selling whole young coconuts and it's kinda the best thing ever.
If you don't want a chunky green smoothie (which I assume no one does) blend the greens first, separately from all the fruit ingredients. Then add the fruit once the greens have been thoroughly broken down. FYI my life changed when I learned this tip!
