I didn't have medjool dates for a few weeks and the first sip of this smoothie reminded me just how much I missed them!!! The celery in this smoothie is optional (I know some people hate celery), but I love the combination of sweet dates, sour citrus juice, & slightly salty celery! Plus celery contains lots of vitamin K & A, minerals, antioxidants, and good dietary fiber!

 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 frozen bananas
  • frozen mango
  • raspberries
  • coconut chunks
  • tangerine juice
  • 3 medjool dates
  • 2 celery stalks (optional)
  • juice from 1/2 a lime 

Directions

1. Blend everything in a high speed blender, top with your favorite fresh fruit and enjoy!
